Mini Haul & Quick fire Reviews

I have been trying to put myself on a spending ban for the past few weeks (emphasis on the word trying), as I have been saving for a few dates coming up. Mainly my long-awaited trip to London - I leave tomorrow, eeeeee! As you can tell by the title of this post- I haven't been perfect, but what I have purchased have been either necessities (kind of) or utter bargains.

Feel Good Formulas | Lavender and Lemongrass Conditioner
I bought this in the beauty sale section at TK Maxx, I'm forever on the look out for bargains in this section and will come across the occasional gem. Despite the RRP of this product being nine pounds, I picked it up for only two pounds! Although I had never heard of this brand before, I immediately knew that I had to have it in my hair-care collection when I twisted off the lid and gave it the traditional beauty blogger investigatory sniff. It was divine, the scent was instantly uplifting and reminded me of freshly cut grass. Despite the fact that I haven't had the chance to use this yet, I think we have a winner, provided it works as well as it smells!

Eylure hedKandi False Eye Lashes
The best bargain I uncovered out of this whole haul. £6.49? Nope, £1.00. I really wish I bought more than just two packs thinking about it now, but oh well. 'Where the bloody hell did you buy those?' I hear you asking... They were in the sale at Internacionale (the clothes shop) I felt like squealing when I saw them (I get way too over-excited). The perfect purchase- I swear by Eylure glue, and the clear band on the lashes mean that they're going to be so easy to wear, plus look so natural!

Herbal Essences | Hello Hydration Shampoo & Conditioner
If I'm honest, I'm usually a complete 'Shampoo Snob'. I turn my nose up at anything that isn't packed full of Argan oil and doesn't have a famous hairdressers name adorned across the bottle (I'm terrible sometimes). So when I completely ran out of shampoo and conditioner last week the last thing I anticipated to buy was a normal, run of the mill hair-care brand. I begrudgingly picked up a herbal essences bottle on a whim as I was in a rush and didn't have time to be my usual fickle self. I have used this shampoo and conditioner twice already and to be honest, it's the best in-shower hair products I have used for a very long time! Even my boyfriend commented on how my hair was softer than usual (and we all know how little attention they usually pay!) I can't believe I have been spending so much money on shampoo and conditioner when I can get better results for a fraction of the price. The 'Bee-strong' range is next to try on my list!

Rimmel | Stay Matte Pressed Powder
Perhaps the most boring product from my haul, but it's worth writing a quick few words about. I have being using this powder for around a week now, I've been so impressed at how much it has kept my terribly oily skin at bay! A quick pat in the morning, then I'm good to go for the rest of the day, I'm definitely going to be repurchasing this little gem!

Rimmel Apocalips Lip Laquer | Shade 102 Nova

Admittedly, when Rimmel first released this product I assumed it was another 'gimmick', designed to part us with our hard earned cash and leave us with nothing but disappointment. However, when the explosion of marketing ploys finally died down (you must have been living under a rock to not see that Kate Moss Apocalips advert), the real reviews began to seep through. I was pleasantly surprised to find that so many bloggers were raving about this product, my previous doubts instantly turned into that infamous wanting feeling - I absolutely need that Lip Laquer. I chose shade 'Nova' ,a punchy pink with deep purple undertones... I don't want to bore you with yet another review into the amazing formula, fruity scent or perfectly designed applicator, so I will leave you with this- Just go out and bloody buy it! (You won't regret it!)

Have you picked up any products this week, or have you tried any of these?
