I Got Into Uni Post & Small Uni Room Haul

If you read my previous post, than you would have read the little note at the bottom telling you that I had got into Uni. I honestly can't put into words how relieved I am to have been given a place. I'm a serious worrier and pessimist at times so getting in has given me reassurance and some more faith in myself!

I'm moving out of my small town home (something I've dreamed of since I've been little), to a big city. The idea of leaving my family and moving out into a flat full of strangers is a little daunting, but I'm so excited for this fresh start!

For as long as I can remember, I've poured over magazines and dreamed of being a part of the adverts and glamorous events shown inside. I still can't believe that I'm going to be studying towards a degree in marketing, I can't wait to start! (such a geek)

My family and friends have been so lovely to me, It's such a good feeling knowing that all the hard work has paid off and you've made the people your closest to proud! As you can tell by the photo they've really spoilt me, I'm definitely a very lucky girl.

Congratulations to all of you that got your place at Uni, I hope you've well and truly celebrated your A-Levels/courses finally being over!

As soon as I found out that I had got into Uni and had collected my A-Level results, I dragged my Dad to Dunelm Mill. I had previously refused to buy anything for my room before receiving my results for fear of 'jinxing' myself. Despite having spotted some really lovely bits. I was so surprised at the prices at Dunelm, they were so reasonable, I definitely recommend it for Uni supplies or even home-ware in general.

3D flower cushion £4.99
I think this cushion is so pretty,  decorative cushions like this will make my room seem so much more homely.

Duvet Cover £14.99
It looks so similar to a Laura Ashley design that I have wanted for ages, I couldn't resist picking it up at half price. Cheap & Chic, what more can a girl want?!

Metal Heart Decoration £1.99 (or 'tat' as my Dad would call it!)
I'm planning on hanging this on my door handle, again something simple to make my room homely.

Cream Metal Bin £6.99
This is almost identical so the bin I've put on a wish-list that I'm still yet to post, it's safe to say I was a very happy girl when I spotted this! Why have a boring bin when it can be pretty eh?

Finally, False flowers £1.99
It may seem bizarre that I added these to my trolley, but I assure you I have a plan. I will probably do a post showing you how I will display them, so you will have to wait 'til then! I was instantly drawn the colour of these, I think it will add the perfect pop of colour to the beiges and creams in my room.

I will keep you updated on anything else I purchase, as my previous wishlist posts have been some of the most popular, so I think it will be good to show you what I actually end up buying. I'm still on the hunt for fairy lights, do you any of you know where I could get them?
