July Favourites

Hello all, today I'm going to be sharing a few of my July favourites. I'm slightly late on the bandwagon this month, as I have been so busy- mainly with work (I need to save up a lot for Uni). To  be honest, this month I haven't really loved many makeup products, the sweltering weather has meant that I rarely risked venturing outside the house with a full face of makeup on!

The first product I have featured may seem slightly odd, but believe it or not, I only watched 'Breakfast At Tiffanys' for the first time this month. I know, I know- I'm a poor excuse for a female! But if it helps, I absolutely fell in love with it. I have always idolised Audrey Hepburn's iconic style and admired the class and glamour the women have in old movies. Holly Golightly is a character we can all relate to- ditsy and unorganised with a passion for pretty things!

My second favourite is Avon's  Sun+ Maxi Tan, a product that has been a staple in my 'hot weather' collection since last year. This tan enhancing oil spray has really helped my tan come along. Whilst I know it's really bad to sun bathe, this product has meant that I've spent less time lounging around in the sun and being in contact with harmful UV Rays. The non-sticky formula and sweet vanilla scent is a winner in my eyes.

Balance Me's Pure Skin Face Wash, was a favourite that I came across by chance. I had purchased July's glamour magazine and received this with it as a  freebie. I decided to try it out and was very pleasantly surprised. I have since been using it everyday as an in-shower facial wash in the mornings and evenings, its been great for refreshing my skin and dissolving any make up. This products boasts benefits of balancing spruce knot extract and anti-oxidant rich rice bran oil- I have no idea what it means, but it sounds good!

My boyfriends mum is so lovely. She gave me a set of Color Club nail varnishes as a gift when I was feeling a little down- how nice! I have had this beautiful Tiffany Blue colour on nails for almost half the month and have had so many compliments on it. Color Club varnishes very rarely chip on my nails and dry almost instantly- the best nail brand in my opinion! (I'm not able to tell you the name as none of the vanishes came with labels-sorry!)

This is the closest to a makeup favourite that you're going to get this month I'm afraid; MUA's Eye Primer! I'd rather be honest and write about products I have actually been using a lot this month than just pick some randomly- but I promise there will be makeup in August (I have been loving so much already!). Anyway, we all know how embarrassing it is to come home after a long day and look in the mirror to find faint lines of eye-shadow sticking to our eyelids! MUA's eye primer stops this from happening completely. It's cheap, effective and the only eye primer I use.

My Emma Bridgewater notepad has adorned my dressing table for months, I use it on a daily basis, for jotting down random thoughts, wish lists and last minute to-do's. The design is so pretty and girly, I can't wait to fill it up so I can go out and buy a new one! (I'm a complete stationary nerd!)

Finally, last but not least my Simple Kind To Skin Light Moisturiser. I really recommend this moisturiser, a little goes a long way and my makeup just sits perfectly on top of it. It would be perfect for those of you who are slightly reluctant to spend over £20  on a moisturiser, it just does exactly what  it says on the bottle- nothing fancy.

What do you think of my July Favourites? Can you recommend any products you think I would like?
