Autumn Beauty Lusts
Here comes Autumn.
Autumn is without a doubt my favourite time of year (such an over used sentence in the blogisphere recently). I'd happily have hot chocolate, candles and cuddles under blankets over boiling hot summer days. I can't wait to see makeup brands new autumn releases (never mind the leaves falling off of trees!) - I've heard Barry M are really going to be bringing it this season.
I've put together a few beauty bits that I have been really lusting after for this season. I'm hoping that one or two friends or family members spot this post and be absolute darlings and buy me something for my birthday!
First up to bat is Bobbi Brown's Long-wear foundation. A clear winner in my eyes. A friend of mine uses this and her skin looks so flawless when it's applied. I've read a few reviews online and it seems that it's a product everyone loves. It's definitely a pricey lust at £30, but I would happily pay that if it meant my makeup actually staying on all night!
Next up, Maybelline Baby Lips. A product that everyone and their nan/mum/sister/dog has. I really need to jump on the bandwagon and see what all the fuss is about. Especially as I'm in desperate need of something to keep my poor dry lips at bay.
Every beauty blogger has that one lipstick that they constantly swatch whenever they wander into somewhere like Debenhams. So tempted to buy it, but never actually taking the plunge. Chanel's Lipstick in number 97 is my weakness. A burnt orangey-red shade, that would compliment any makeup or skin tone. However, how it would compliment my back balance is another story...
Brace yourselves for the price of the next product.. you see those three teeny bottles on the screen labelled 'Chanel'? They are ONE HUDRED AND FIFTY FOUR POUNDS. Yes, £154 British smackaroo's. You should have seen my face when the lady at the Chanel counter told me the price, I'm absolutely terrible at hiding emotion. If I had the money, I would definitely buy the range, as they're meant to completely rejuvenate your skin. I've especially got my eye on 'Le Weekend'.
Origins GinZing moisturiser is a popularly blogged product- I've heard nothing but good reviews. So naturally, I really want to give it a try. My skin always looks so dull in the mornings (especially after a late night), so the energy boosting complex seems like just what my skin is craving.

I'm not really big on the primer side of makeup, I've only ever owned three- one of them just being an eye-primer. I'd love to give more a try, Nivea is a brand I trust so I feel like their Express Hydration Primer is going to be next on my list.
Is it only me that finds it utterly impossible to find a decent concealer? I feel like whatever I use just distracts slightly from the huge dark circles surrounding my eyes, rather than covering them completely, despite the packaging claims. Another friend of mine uses Soap & Glory's Kick Ass Concealer, and swears by it. So hopefully, It will work just as well on me as it does her.
Finally, probably no definitely, the prettiest product on my lust list. Laura Mercier Skin Illuminator in Spell Bound. (Just google the images) It's a breathtakingly beautiful golden highlight, I want it soooooo badly! It just puts MAC's soft and gentle to shame! Gimme Gimme Gimme.
Finally,
There you go girls, my beauty lust list for Autumn. I can't wait to start saving and hopefully buy some of them. Although, it seems a little unlikely with having to pay for so many things now (like uni books, how over priced are they?!). Also- I may be posting a little less often for a while as I will be moving next Friday- eeeeeek. I will let you know how it goes & share with you my birthday!

Thanks it's so gorgeous! you should swatch it if you ever spot it!xx
DeleteLove the Chanel lipstick shade! And I had the Kick Ass Concealer but it didn't work too well for me as it was too pink for my skintone. I have L'oreal's True Match Touche Magique and find that works brilliantly for hiding my dark circles :) xx
